Today's review is on Great Hexpectations by H.P. Mallory
While waiting to read this; the third in Mallory's Dulcie O'Neil series, I have to say that I did indeed have some great expectations of my own. Thankfully those expectations were met.
Dulcie and Knight have finally given in to their mutual attraction with Knight "claiming" her as his mate in the process. When Dulcie's ex shows up on her doorstep and Knight steps in to protect her, she lets all of her insecurities come to the forefront and Knight leaves in a huff.
When he doesn't show up for work and no one can get a hold of him Dulcie not only becomes worried, she realizes that she has made a great mistake. When she finds that Knight has been taken to the High Court once again to face "his" crime, she can no longer keep her feelings hidden. It will take more than love however to save them both.
A few surprises abound in this installment that will keep you reading and wanting more.
