I'm usually not much for novella's, but after reading Deadlocked I have changed my mind. It's not that the writing was exceptional, but it was a well developed and entertaining read. Grabbing your attention right from the start, Deadlocked's action packed pace will keep you entranced through all 54 pages.Tainted food has caused the cities population to die and rise again as zombies and all David wants is to get home to his wife and two young daughters. Faced with his own mortality, David will do whatever it takes to keep his family safe. Anything.
I really enjoyed this first installment and have already began reading the second. I'm looking forward to books 3 and 4 as well.
