Book Review: Bent Out Of Shape

Today's review is on Bent Out of Shape by Bebe Balocca

No matter where or when, I can always count on some hot and heavy action from Balocca. Her characters are not only utterly delectable; at least the men I now dream about, but they are also believable. They have real jobs and more importantly real problems. Take Jamie Davis for instance.

As the short description of Bent Out Of Shape states, Jamie wants to become a full-time yoga instructor, but in order to keep afloat she has to have a second job. Then out of nowhere she’s asked to come up to Twisted Fork Ranch to hold a lesson with billionaire Marcus Paul. If she could get a permanent gig there she would be set. When she arrives at the ranch however, instead of giving a lesson to Mr. Paul she has to give a lesson to his assistant instead. His gorgeous assistant. Now I don't need to tell you that not only do sparks fly, but fireworks explode between the two of them.

No book by Balocca would be complete without a little danger though, and when assistant Peter Fletcher informs her that he was fired by Mr. Paul that danger begins. Dodging armed security and ferocious guard dogs, Jamie finds that love really does come at the strangest of times.

What about the billionaire Marcus Paul?? Let's just say that surprises are abound in this short erotic story. I wanted to trade places with Jamie at least 4 or 5 times before I got to the last page!!

Another great book that I just loved, and my husband appreciated. *wink, wink*

Book Review: Falling to Pieces

Today's review is on Falling to Pieces, Book 3.5 in the Rose Gardner Series by Denise Grover Swank

I have read all of Swank's books in the Chosen series and now the Rose Gardner series. Sadly, I have decided that I just cannot read any books in the newer series that she writes. Why? Because she writes so damn well that I can’t help but to become emotionally vested in her characters!

In the first two installments it's all about Rose and Joe, and rightfully so. He was her first love and well, I thought he was the bees knees too. That is until the sexy and hunky Mason came to town. It was from that first time he locked eyes with Rose and those sparks flew off of the pages that I gave my heart to him and all bets were off. Sorry Joe.

Thankfully the writing goddess, because that is what Swank is, has heard my silent dreams and prayers. Joe has left the building. He had a choice to make at the end of book 3 and he chose unwisely. Instead of choosing Rose above all else he chose the cowards way and has once again become the puppet his parents control.

But what happened after Joe broke up with Rose and drove away? In this short three-part book you can find out for yourself. You may want to grab a tissue. You may want to hide your sneer. But if you're anything like me and your heart was set on Mason you just may jump for joy. Now I need book 4!!

Another fantastic read!!
