Book Review: My Little Texas Tornado

Today's review is on My Little Texas Tornado by Ruby Vine

I could not put this book down, but I had to get some sleep. It was 11:00PM when I finally plugged my iPad in and hit the hay. Only to dream of these wonderful characters.

Californian Art student Savannah Moon has just inherited a vineyard in Texas so she heads over to get everything settled. While driving to the vineyard her rental car dies, but the main house is just up the road so she get's out of the car and begins walking. The next thing she knows, she's pushed to the ground by someone until a dangerous tornado passes.

After the handsome Cowboy rescues her, he drives her the the main house. Turns out he's her neighbor Colt Daniels. The attraction between the two is instant, but Savannah is engaged.

When her fiance' comes to the vineyard all hell seems to breaks loose. His insecurity and jealousy begin to tear their relationship apart. He sees how Colt and Savannah look at each other and he's not happy about it.

Vine's amazingly descriptive writing immediately pulled me into the lives of Savannah, Skip and Colt, making even my loins ache for a handsome Cowboy of my own.

Love, adultery, kidnappings, and tornado's. There's no shortage of excitement in this book. I look forward to reading more from this talented author.

Book Description: via Amazon

Colt Daniels is a Texas rancher known for his award winning steaks. The king rancher has known his good neighbor and vintner, Mr. Moon for years. In fact, he recommends the Moon Wines as the ideal label paired with his mouth watering steaks. When Mr. Moon dies and leaves the vineyard to his long lost niece, Savannah Moon, Colt offers to show her the ropes since the California girl is clueless, not only about Texas but about wine. Even his Southern Charm is lost on the snob who doesn't even have the decency to thank him for saving her life her first day in town.

Thing is, he ain't cut out to train someone he can't stand, even if Mr. Moon was like a grandfather to him. But there's no denying it, the Moons know how to grow 'em...wine and women. Savannah isn't a woman he can easily forget. Bitchy or not, he finds reasons to teach her about grapes, among other things. And while he's finding reasons to stomp the grapes with his new neighbor, a plan is brewing to bring the wine heiress down.
