Book Review: Bonds of Fenris

Today's review is on Bonds of Fenris by S. J. Bell

This short book; 223 pages, is a wonderful illustration of self acceptance, and being able to live in your own skin. That being different is simply a part of who you are and that it is neither good nor bad. It's about finding strength and confidence in yourself.

Talia Thornwood's "normal" life ended the day she was bitten by a mangey wolf. Unknown to her, he wasn't just any wolf, he was a werewolf. And though she survived the attack, she is now a were as well. Thankfully there was a small pack that took her in and taught her how to live with her affliction. But is she really living?

When Talia meets Corwin; a werewolf who can shift between man and wolf effortlessly, she realizes that she has not been living, but has been hiding. And though he is more than willing to teach her how he controls his wolf, the lessons may cost her her life.

I fell in love with all of the characters almost instantly and was drawn into the story quickly. With a host of solid characters, a great storyline with love, loss, and self discovery, Bonds of Fenris is off to a good start. (Just double check that editing, there wasn't a lot, but there were some.) I'll be waiting for book 2!!
