Book Review: Diary of a Vampire Stripper

Today's review is on Diary of a Vampire Stripper by Cinsearae Santiago

Diary of a Vampire Stripper is a fun and snarky take on today's hottest paranormals, Vampires and Werewolves. And though it still has elements we all know and love; love triangles, battles between the two clans, I can assure you that it is nothing like anything that you have read before.

Audra Perez is a no-holds-barred kind of girl who knows B.S. when she hears it, and doesn't tolerate it. So finding a job to pay for her college education was on the top of her to do list. But even she didn't know she would get a job working as a stripper at the Hoochie Coochie Club. Hell, she didn't know how "miss hairy crotch" got a job there either, but it was what it was.

Audra's always had an affinity for older men, so when the handsome and distinguished Darren Von Eldon sweep's her off of her feet she doesn't hesitate to date him. (even if it is against the rules) But unknown to her, Darren is actually a vampire. And after a night of wining and dining, he turns her and then he vanishes.

Left alone to fend for herself isn't an easy task, what with getting enough bird's to drink from, getting caught up with a ring of radical cops hell-bent on killing Vampires and Werewolves, and stopping a huge war from happening between the two groups of supernaturals. But when Darren comes back into her life, things just go from bad to worse.

I loved Audra's spit and fire and gave her credit for not falling apart during different times in the book. And because I too have an affinity for older men, I must say that I also fell in love with Darren. I think the only character I didn't fall in love with is Paul. (You'll just have to read the book to find out why)

Snarky and funny with strong female characters......who wouldn't love that?! I can't wait for the next installment to come out this winter!
