Book Review: Forever (The Wolves of Mercy Falls #3)

Today's review is on Forever (The Wolves of Mercy Falls) by Maggie Stiefvater

Forever is the third and last installment in Maggie Stiefvater's Wolves of Mercy Falls delightful story of innocence lost, love, and new beginnings. All three of the books depicts a love based on mutual respect instead of sex, sex, sex, which is a welcome difference from many other books.

Grace is a wolf, Sam is not.  Cole is a wolf intent on finding a cure, and Isabel is fighting against her feelings for him.  But along with those problems Isabel's father has taken his anger towards the wolves to a whole new level.  He has been able to get approval for an aerial attack to wipe out the pack living in the woods of Mercy Falls.  Now Grace, Sam, Cole, and Isabel are racing to find a way to move the pack to somewhere safe.

Forever; like the last two books, is written so well that it becomes a pleasure to read. My only complaint is the ending. Though Sam and Grace are together, we are still left hanging. Is Cole's theory correct? Will injecting Grace with meningitis while she is a wolf cure her? What about the leaf stem Sam twisted around her finger. Is her proposing? Does Cole and Isabel get together? To many loose ends for my taste.

Readers will undoubtedly enjoy Forever as much if not more than the others.
