Book Review: Requiem

Today's Review is on Requiem by Jamie McGuire

Requiem is the second installment in McGuire's Providence series and picks up right where the first book left off.

Though Nina is now happy to be with Jared living in the loft together, she is plagued with terrifying nightmares. Nightmares where her father and Gabe are stealing Shax's book.

As if Nina didn't have her plate full all ready, what with going back to Brown, working at her father's company, and still feeling guilty about Ryan joining the military, now she finds that she is the woman in both a Biblical and Demonic prophecy.  She and Jared will have a child that will upset the balance between Heaven and Hell.  She will give birth to a Son of God.

Though Requiem had just as many if not more editing errors, it was still and excellent book. Just as descriptive and exciting as the first book, I had to keep reading into the wee hours of the night to see what happened next.

5 of 5 stars
